I’m super pumped that I just ordered one of these off eBay. I’ve always been a big fan of polaroids, but haven’t used mine in forever since the film is so expensive.
The film for these Fujifilm cameras is a lot cheaper and also offer a unique credit card sized print. Pretty stoked to take lots of shots with this and throw them together into a album for the coffee table.
The Best Free Texture Packs of 2009 | Web Design Ledger:
Some really great vintage textures in here.
This is beyond moving. One of the best videos of the year.

9:27pm - The Dream:
Tonight I tried something different. Hi ISO night shots with my new lens, the Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8. This is two shots that I took overlaid on one another. I like the abstract nature of it, and kind of brings me back to my early days of shooting when I did a lot of night shoots.
Shot at ISO 2500. View On Black
Broadcasting live for the day
Last Friday was fun, so I am going to be broadcasting some internet radio out of my house again today. I’m changing it up a bit though by playing a wide selection of music, both new and old, popular and slightly obscure.
I’ll also be taking requests!

Finally did it. Order myself this bad boy! The Nikkor AF-S 24-70 mm F2.8G. I certainly hope to have it before the holidays so I can get to testing it out!

Here’s a song I recorded for a friend of mine. We kept it pretty raw sounding and did everything in pretty much one take.
I leant a little guitar to the end of the song as well.
Joel Cochrane (1986 - 2009):
I had the pleasure of working musically with Joel and his band 16th Avenue many times over the last few years. I’ve know him since he was a tiny little scrawny 16 year old but sadly, we lost Joel way before his time.
Goodbye my friend. You are deeply missed by so many.
Madison:
Another shot from my family session this weekend. This one was probably my favorite.
I’ve also been trying out a new black and white look. Low contrast with some added grain.
More photos from this session are on the blog: www.seanmcgrath.ca/blog/2009/12/madison-and-reid/
The Photography Blog of Brooks Reynolds :
One of my favorite photographers at the moment. He’s Canadian and does lots of band promos. He has a great style, and is also the man behind We Are Sleeping Giants.
Let kids be kids:
Had another family shoot this weekend that just pasted. Learned a valuable trick when working with kids. Stop trying to instruct them, and just let them do their own thing and capture that.
It may be a bit harder, but the end results are totally worth it.
