This video has an amusing collection of Office Space scenes that feature all the best cartoon superheroes as the actors. It features Superman as Peter, Robin as Samir and Batman as Michael Bolton.

Not that this is very hard to figure out on your own, but I was just fooling around and figured out how to change the “Welcome to Darwin!” message that appears when you open a new Terminal window in OS X. All you have to do is edit the file:
/private/etc/motd
and you will be good to [...]

Well, my blog finally appears as the first search result on Google when searching for “sean mcgrath”. I had been in the third position for a while, behind the Python/XML guru who also shares the same name.
I am beginning to wonder if Google recently changed the way they index web sites. Because the Bird’s Eye [...]

Although I already own an iPod, I will probably be picking up an iPod Shuffle in the near future. For only $180 I can get the 1GB version which will also serve as a memory stick (since I lost my old one after about a week). A lot of people are complaining that there [...]

The newest Need For Speed game has recently made it’s way to the XBOX and has been occupying a large amount of my time! In my opinion it is the best racing game for the XBOX. Lots of replay value, different types of races (Sprint, Drag, Drift, Street X, Circuit, and Street Challenges), and tons [...]

Well, after a week without my Powerbook I finally have it back. Thanks to a bad hard drive I lost most of my data on my 60GB drive, went one week without a computer (well a good computer), and am now $300 poorer. I think it is about time to think of a weekly backup [...]

Scrolling through web pages or [...]

I stumbled on a radio show today that is available online, that covers a lot of cool Mac stuff. The radio shows are available in an RSS feed. A new show is posted every monday.

Guilty Pleasure

I don’t like to admit it very often, but Michael Jackson does have some good songs. I know he is the “King of Pop”, but the song Dirty Diana simply rocks! I used to like this song as a child, and as I listened to it on my iPod today the song still has it. [...]

Wordpress Spam

15Feb05

So I have finally started getting spam posted in my comments, mostly from online poker, and it is starting to get rather annoying. I don’t really understand trackbacks, but is that what spammers use to find articles to post on? If so, disabling trackbacks should be an easy way to stop spam right? Can anyone [...]

After the recent snowfall and freezing rain in Saint John, the trees ended up beautifully frozen as if they were made of glass. The clear blue sky made the following pictures turn out quite well (especially with my new polarizing filter that really brought out the blue in the sky), some of the best results [...]

This weekend I decided to test the broadcasting power of my Griffin iTrip with my iPod, and to my surprise it turned out to be very powerful for such a small device that draws all of its power consumption from my iPod.
While following my girlfriend out to her house in my own car, [...]
